Pacline Conveyors is proud to announce its continued sponsorship of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1325, Inverse Paradox. This team of high school students from Mississauga, Ontario is passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

FIRST Robotics Competition is a fun, challenging and inspiring mentor-based program that combines the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology. The program aims to inspire and prepare young people to become the next generation of innovators and leaders in the field of robotics and automation. Inverse Paradox’s first competition of the year is set to take place March 8 – 10, 2024 and the team is excited to unveil the robot they worked tirelessly to build.

Pacline Conveyors believes that sponsoring Inverse Paradox is not only a way of giving back to the community, but is also a way of investing in the future of the industry. By supporting STEM education, Pacline Conveyors hopes to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving among young people who will become their future workforce and customers.

Two scholarships worth $8,000 will be awarded by Pacline each year to two graduating students of the FRC Team 1325 who demonstrate exceptional dedication, contribution, leadership and team skills.

At Pacline, the commitment to the industrial community is more than just a corporate obligation—it’s a mission. That is why they developed a five-pronged approach which fosters growth, collaboration, and innovation in the local community. The framework includes:

  1. Financial support and sponsorship
  2. Supply of a dedicated space for students to work
  3. Scholarships
  4. Co-op term placements for grads
  5. Summer job placements for team members
